  • Acciona

    Engineering Trades Australia is providing a team of tradespeople and supervision to perform construction and rectification works on a material handling plant, within a large Energy from Waste facility. Once completed, our client saw the benefit of utilising Engineering Trades Australia, and has kept our team onsite. As project works were completed, our teams were utilised across various parts of the plant including Turbine Hall, Boiler house, various buildings, waste bunkers.

    Over the course of the project Engineering Trades Australia’s team was made up of 70+ which includes Project Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors, HSE, Trades – Boilermakers, Pipefitters, 6G Coded Welders, Mechanical Fitters, Crane Operators and Site Administration.

     

    Iluka

    Engineering Trades Australia has built strong working relationships with our clients who operate in the Mineral Sands sector in Western Australia. Engineering Trades Australia has diligently planned these shutdowns, through review of work scopes, tailoring the solution of qualified personnel, and then underpinning the works with strong teams, and internal supervision. Works are performed on tight time frames, in a safe manner, and have seen Engineering Trades Australia become a valued part of our clients supply chain.

    Within the shutdown scope of works our clients have also asked us to perform off-site fabrication, then installation. These fabrication projects have included structural steel changeouts, and surge bar fabrication and installations. These projects have been completed while the plant has been in shutdown, and scheduled works were achieved prior to plant start-up.

    Gold Sector

    Engineering Trades Australia Contracting has been working with a number of the Tier 1 gold companies across Australia, and performed with clients on multiple assets within their portfolios. We have supported our clients on their sites across the Goldfields, Northern Goldfields and Murchison Regions.

    Through extensive planning, work scope reviews, a diligent labour hire division, and strong internal supervision, Engineering Trades Australia has been able to perform our work scopes within allocated timeframes and in a safe manner. This has led to growth within other gold mining clients and being part of existing clients’ plans for the future.

  • YEM Technology 

    Since 2019, we have been providing contingent workforce and project labour to our client, YEM Technology, a major maintenance contractor for Sino Iron Ore and Karara Mining.

    On average, we provide YEM Technology with 60–100 personnel at any one time. We supply:

    • Mechanical Supervisors

    • Electrical Supervisors

    • Boilermakers

    • Mechanical Fitters

    • Trades Assistants

    • Riggers

    • Electricians

    Mineral Resources & Crushing Services International

    Engineering Trades Australia has been supplying both mineral resources and their crushing division, Crushing Services International since 2020. We supply to both their workshops and a variety of Mineral Resources Sites. 

    ​

    Engineering Trades Australia works closely with all line managers to ensure supply is consistent, compliance is met and quality of trades is kept high.

     

    We supply Mechanical, Electrical & Fabrication trades, along with production personnel.

     

    Newcrest/Newmont

    Engineering Trades Australia was selected to the Newcrest/Newmont supplier panel in 2021 to supply shutdown services, along with providing ongoing maintenance personnel to their Telpher, Boddington, and Tanami mines.

     

    We supply shutdown services for programmed maintenance which also includes the large 450 personnel quarterly shuts. We also supply to site : 

     

    • Mechanical & Electrical personnel along with

    • Supervisors and Project Managers

  • Engineering Trades Australia Contracting has been involved in a number of fabrication projects for our clients’ processing plants and associated infrastructure on their sites. With our laydown area in our workshop we can store materials and fabricated works until they are needed on clients sites.

     

    Projects have included:

    • Conveyor Guarding – Audit, removal, replacement, and fabrication of new conveyor guarding.

    ​

    • Structural Steel Projects – Fabrication, painting, and delivery of structural steel beams and surge bars, followed by installation within shutdown cycles to ensure areas are handed over within the required timeframes.

    ​

    • Grid Mesh, Handrails – Fabrication, painting, and installation of grid mesh and handrails for our clients' projects.
